Rooms for Tourist started their cheap motel budget hostel room rental business in Tsim Sha Tsui way back from the 80's with license number H1199 & H1230 respectively.  The premises have undergone renovation in 2010 and the motel is specialized in tourist room rental only. Room for tourist is located at the end of Mody road in Tsim Sha Tsui, which is near to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Tsim Sha Tsui East.  The location is quiet yet very convenient.  It is just 2 minutes walk from the busiest Nathan Road and it is very near to the newly developed night life area Minden Avenue (similar to Lan Kwai Fong in Central, Hong Kong Island).  The area is surround by trendy shops and is most suitable for tourist to stay.

Rooms for Tourist has many types of rooms to suit travelers' needs.  Most rooms in Rooms for Tourist has windows so air circulation inside the rooms is very good.  The motel is located in an old building so room size is especially bigger than usual small motels in Hong Kong.  Room size is comparable to many 2-3 star hotels.  The motel offers single room, double rooms, twin rooms, 3 person room (twin room + extra bed) and four person room (twin bed + 2 x extra beds).  Since the hostel is located in the more quiet area of Tsim Sha Tsui so Rooms for Tourist is not as busy as hostels in Chung King Building or Mirador Mansion, which is most suitable for guests requiring a peaceful environment.  Because of the larger room size and quiet nature, the hostel is always fully packed with return customers so booking your room well in advance is highly recommended.

Rooms for Tourist is just 2 minutes walk from the busiest Nathan Road and Tsim Sha Tsui East commercial area.  Taking the Airport bus A21 from the Hong Kong Airport can get off at station #16  (Mody Road, 27th Chatham Road South) walk backward for 1 min and turn left.  Take the MTR RED line and gets off at Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Gets up from exit P3 or N1 will lead you directly in front of the main entrance of the building. The premises is just 5 minutes walk from the Vitoria harbour, 10 mins walk from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and 10 mins walk from the Star Ferry pier, making it one of the most convenient location you can be staying in Tsim Sha Tsui.
